Zorro and the Outward Journey (Zorro’s Pacific Odyssey Book 1)
About
Terror stalks Spanish California, ruthless and relentless …
A landowner’s daughter is kidnapped and believed dead. Undaunted, Don Diego de la Vega wears Zorro’s midnight black garb, and goes forth in search of the girl. Once she is rescued, everyone believes the terrorists have been defeated. When the fanatics opt to kidnap a wealthy landowner’s son, they choose Diego as their hostage! Now, Zorro must affect his own escape aboard a British ship, sailing toward a dreadful fate.
Zorro’s Pacific Odyssey, an original trilogy, takes “The Fox” from the California deserts, across the unforgiving Pacific, to strange challenges in an unfamiliar land!
Praise for this book
"The author is clearly, very much, a fan of the Disney series. The books contain little details from throughout the show's run.
The thing I loved most about the story is that Diego is put into a situation that leaves him vulnerable and not in control. He must rely on the true man that is Diego de la Vega. Zorro is there, but not as a separate entity from the whole. This is Diego without the roleplaying, complete and real.
Like Dorothy, all Diego wants is to go home. And also like Dorothy, he finds true friends along the journey to help him to achieve that goal.
I hope this author writes more Zorro books. I really like her take on the character."
